Brooklyn Banks Closing

Some sad news… Later this year the Brooklyn Banks, one of skateboarding’s most legendary spots, will be closing down and put to a new use as a staging area for the Brooklyn Bridge reconstruction. No specific date has been set for when it will close, but the construction is estimated to last until 2014. Get there while you can!

After Back to the Berg, it’s time for the East Coast to come prove themselves at Back to the Banks. This Saturday (June 6th) at 1:00pm it’s going down under the Brooklyn Bridge at the famous Brooklyn Banks. There’s a lot of money to be won, with 4 best tricks and an MVP prize at $2,000 each for a total of $10,000.
