Famous Stars and Straps has just announced that Jereme Rogers is no longer a part of the team. It seems like the news about Jereme hasn’t stopped after his recent rooftop incident. Last I checked, he’s still listed on their site under family – but Transworld has posted the word from Famous:
We run a true skateboarding program at Famous, we are always on tour filming for our video, doing demos, competing etc. We support our riders’ ambitions, but skateboarding needs to always comes first.
Good luck J!
I don’t blame them for dropping him, but at the same time I’d like to point out that they haven’t put skating first as a company – their “family” also includes DJ’s, fighters, and tattoo artists – which makes it sound like Jereme would be a perfect fit.
Pro-skater-turned-rapper Jereme Rogers has had some run-ins with the law this week. By now you’ve probably heard the crazy story about how early Monday morning police responded when Jereme was preaching naked on his rooftop after eating some mushrooms and freaking out. He apologized on Wednesday (read the news story) and has been talking about it on Twitter, and from what he’s said he seems to be getting a good laugh now:
ate some mushrooms an bugged its actually a pretty hilarious story now that its said & done
Well, he had another date with the police last night, but this time he was in the clear. The funny thing was that cops found weed, but because of a medical card it was totally legal. Check out his comments on last night below and follow all his stories on twitter:
